John Pagini Receives Recognition from Governor Rell

John Pagini, the Conservation Coordinator of Joshua’s Tract Conservation and Historic Trust, was honored by Gov. Jodi Rell at a ceremony on June 4th for his contributions to the development of Greenways. A certified municipal and regional planner, John Pagini has had a 35-year career during which he has promoted and overseen a number of environmental projects from the creation of bike paths to the acquisition of open space. A Coventry resident, he has served on the Council on Environmental Quality and on the Board of 1,000 Friends. He is a consultant to the town of Bolton and also serves as the Professional Development Officer to the Connecticut Chapter of the American Association of Certified Planners. DEP Deputy Commissioner Susan Frechette joined Connecticut Greenways Council Chairman Bill O’Neill for the ceremony, which took place at the Rotary Park Bandstand in Putnam.
