2011 Joshua's Trust Annual Meeting
Knowlton Hall was filled to overflowing with attendees at the 45th Joshua's Trust Annual Meeting. The evening began with an introduction by President Burchell-Robinson and was capped with Professor Rudy Favretti's discourse on Mansfield and Trust history. Long-time members Tom Bloom and Art Runnels were recognized for their outstanding work with the new stewardship awards. Richard Schleicher and Les Mehrhoff were honored in memorium for their contributions to open space and conservation. Attending to accept were Randy Schleicher and Olga Mehrhoff. The Joshua's Trust Conservation Award for a group was presented to the Mansfield Historical Society for their efforts to preserve the history of Mansfield. Bruce Clouette accepted on behalf of the Society. The evening festivities highlighted our recognition by the Land Trust Alliance as an accredited trust. Madge Manfred was also honored (in absentia) for her many years shepherding the process and everyone celebrated the achievement with a plate of accreditation cake.
